Like many actors, I first got excited about performing when I realized I could make my parents laugh.

As an eight-year-old, my “expertise” was impressions of Charlie Chaplin and Richard Nixon. My range has definitely expanded since then! I acted through high school and into college, with The Artful Dodger in Oliver! being my favorite role.

I then pivoted to a career in nonprofits and philanthropy, working as a communications and strategy executive for advocacy groups and grantmaking foundations. There is more about that part of my life at www.SilvermanStrategies.com.

In recent years, acting is once again a central part of my life. I have been performing improv since 2022 at Endgames Improv and returned to scripted theater and film in 2024. I find great joy in finding the core of my characters’ personalities and motives through my own, rich life experiences.
