Daniel Silverman

I first got excited about performing when I realized I could make my parents laugh. As an eight-year-old, my specialty was impressions of Charlie Chaplin and Richard Nixon. My range has definitely expanded since then! I continued acting through high school and college; The Artful Dodger in Oliver! was a particular highlight.

I then pivoted to a career in nonprofits and philanthropy, applying what I learned on stage to communications and public speaking positions with advocacy groups and foundations. There is more about that part of my life at www.SilvermanStrategies.com.

In recent years, I've returned to my love of acting and it has become a central part of my life. I performed improv from 2022–2025 at Endgames Improv in San Francisco, and returned to scripted theater and film in 2024. Recent commercial projects are listed on my resume alongside my stage and film credits. I find great joy in unearthing the core of my characters' personalities and motives through my own life experiences.
